Be true to the royal within

I know I’ve been talking a lot about family history recently, but it really is important to me. And I realized something the other day…

While looking back through several generations of my relatives, I’ve found that you don’t get very far back with records… Until you find royalty. It’s the royals from way back when that have really good records. The common people didn’t really have many records kept about them, which sometimes makes it difficult to find family. But that’s a topic for a whole other day.

I was thinking about royalty. Lots of little girls want to be princesses and marry princes and live in castles. While there’s nothing wrong with reaching high for your goals, I was wondering just how many of us have royal blood without realizing it. Because I, for one, have a lot of royal blood and I didn’t even know. It made me wonder… Am I being true to that? To the kings and queens of my past?

Then again… How many of our friends or family members or neighbors are children of the King? Of the highest order of royalty there is? And they don’t even know it?

Each and every single one of us is a son or daughter of a King. A Heavenly King. We’re all children of our Heavenly Father, the greatest King that there is.

What does that mean to you?

Are you living true to the royal within you?

Are you helping others see their own great royal potential?
